1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of GateGrocer’s services, a fresh produce delivery brand operated by Marudisha Printers & General Supplies Limited, including WhatsApp ordering, weekly deliveries, and any related digital platforms.
By placing an order or interacting with our WhatsApp system, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Scope
GateGrocer connects customers to fresh produce sourced from farmers, markets, and trusted suppliers. We focus on gated communities, estates, and neighbourhood clusters within our active delivery zones.
We do not guarantee availability of every item at all times, as pricing and stock depend on real market conditions.
3. Ordering & Confirmation
All orders are placed through our WhatsApp flow:
- You send us a “Hi”.
- You browse the catalog and add items to your cart.
- You confirm your delivery address via WhatsApp Flows.
- You select your payment method (Mobile Money or Cash on Delivery).
- You receive confirmation of your order and delivery window.
We reserve the right to reject or adjust orders where an item is unavailable, mispriced, or out of season. In such cases, we will communicate alternatives.
4. Pricing & Payments
Prices are based on current Ugandan market conditions and may change from week to week. Final payable amounts include produce cost plus delivery and packaging where applicable.
You agree to pay the full confirmed amount via Mobile Money or Cash on Delivery at the time of receiving your order.
5. Delivery & Responsibility
Deliveries are scheduled on specific days (for example, Tuesday and Thursday) depending on your location. We commit to delivering to the agreed drop-off point (usually the estate or gate entrance).
Once the order is handed over at the agreed location, responsibility for the goods transfers to you.
6. Cancellations & Changes
Orders can only be cancelled or changed within a limited time window before market buying and dispatch. Late cancellations may not be possible once we’ve already purchased items on your behalf.
7. Data & Communication

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
